Rayne cantered to the ridge and looked at the path out of the valley. She wasn't ready for a new mate. Thunder obviously was. She was him and Chevy in the Grassy Steppe. "Pah, whor.e." she spat.
Night clambered up the rocks. He had finished with it all. He saw Rayne and called for her. Rayne turned her head and nickered back. Night nuzzled her shoulder and she licked his cheek.
"I heard about Thunder. I'm so sorry. He's off to make his own herd now and all i have is River, Angel and you." he began to cry. Rayne sighed.
"Why are you here Night?" she said softly, worried about the answer.
"To end this misery" he answered quietly. He had heard the horses in the grassy steppe saying he was going round the bend. Rayne gasped and licked his cheek again. "and you?" he asked back.
"To leave." she mumbled. Night sighed. Why were they so unhappy after such a short amount of time? "You were a good leader Night." she told him sadly
"And you were a wonderful mare to Thunder." he reared up one last time and walked to the edge of the cliff. "Goodbye Rayne" he said
"Goodbye Nightmare" she answered, and turned to take the exit path out of Necromancy

Thunder looked up from Chevy and saw Rayne. He saw her walking away and got up. Thunder slowly trotte over
"Rayne!" he whinnied "Where are you going?"
Thunder looked at Night, where were they all going
"Night?" he asked "Where are you all going?"

Rayne looked back and narrowed her eyes. She carried on walking. Night looked down from the cliff and reared again, ready to make the plunge
He sighed and his front hooves slipped. His body went crashing down the rocks, then he lay, limp, cold and motionless at the bottom. Rayne neighed "Goodbye my friend, goodbye" she said to night.

Thunder reared up and raced to the edge
"Night!" he neighed "Night!"
He turned his head and raced in front of Rayne, tears falling from his eyes
"Rayne you can't leave, no matter if the electricity doesnt flow! I still love you! Don't leave me!" he whinnied, choking on his tears

Rayne's eyes flashed. "its obvious you want to be with miss CHAVVY" she hissed. "Go see Night" she growled and cantered out of the valley

Thunder watched her go and felt as if he was being killed. He dropped to the ground. Thunder closed his eyes tight and wished it could all be a horrible dream, but when he opened them, he realised it was reality. He stood back up and reared up to the sky.
"Why? What did I do wrong?" he asked, but as always, the sky was silent. He bent his head and let the tears fall down his face. He raced to the edge of the cliff and slid down the stones.
"Night?" he whinnied softly. He touched Nights nose and flinche. He was as cold as ice. Thunder lifted his head and screamed. He didn't want to be alone!

Rayne looked over her shoulder. She sobbed. He would have a happy family with chevy-chavvy and he would forget all about her.
Night's chest moved shallowly, his heart beat weak.

Thunder looked at Night. He bent his head
"Night?" he asked, Thunder nuzzled his cheek

He didnt answer, his eyes cloudy. He was older now and knew he would have to retire from the herd at some point. He would give it to his beta. He gasped for air, then his breathing stopped.

Thunder shook his mane
"Noo!" he cried. His cry echoed and the birds flew from their trees. Thunder buried his head in Night's mane. "Don't leave me," he whinnied softly

quietly, the pulse continued in Night. He sighed. He had given up fighting and was letting the struggle collapse and death overwhelm him. But he couldn't do it. Images flashed in his eyes of him being strong again. He spoke quietly. "Thunder?" he muttered
((hes not old hes only 6 >.> rofl))

Thunder lifted his head
"Night!" he whinnied. He nuzzled Night's cheek and looked at him. "Wait here, I'll go get help!" he neighed and stood up
