"Yes. My father's family owned it, his parents died, his brother left, he owned it" she paused for breath "Moonherd was the only herd here, but he allowed four more. Shadowherd, Riverherd, Iceherd and Sunherd. We are still the largest herd and I am the owner of the whole valley."

Tybalt smiled. "And Thunder and Crash?" he asked. He'd heard about Thunder coming back to life, and Crash being Thunder's son. He wondered if she knew them. "It must get lonely," he said.

"Thunder was a great horse. Crash I do not know." she told him "My father is much more well informed of the inhabitants. But sadly he died" she sighed with remorse "I hardly knew him"
